How Your Help Is Distributed (cont.)

All non-government, Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) health and welfare service agencies and community-based organisations are encouraged to apply for one-off grants for up to $15,000 for specific projects. The Allocation Committee comprises members of the United Way SA board, local government and community service agency representatives, and is responsible for the review of all applications and the allocation of grants. The allocation process is strenuous and is stringent to ensure equitable distribution in accordance with community needs.
