Only one authorisation is needed for many years of voluntary contribution.
It is equally easy to stop any further payroll donations – just file a form to stop.
Donors may direct United Way to distribute their donation across the charitable sector on a needs basis.
Funds raised through payroll deduction are directed to charities by United Way South Australia, with United Way having the benefit of local knowledge.
Donors may designate their donation through United Way South Australia for specific program areas, eg: aged care, health, welfare, youth services, etc.
Donors can designate their donation to specific charities and decide the % of their donation that goes to each of their chosen charities.
Payroll contribution is fee-free and pre tax.
