814 Lanes & Games partners with the United Way of the Laurel Highlands

3/8/21- RICK KAZMER - United Way of the Laurel Highlands
The team at 814 Lanes & Games in Richland Township is donating a portion of proceeds earned on Thursday, March 18, to the United Way of the Laurel Highlands.
The nonprofit organization will quickly put the money to work by helping people in Cambria and Somerset counties. The United Way provides the crucial PA 211 network and early childhood education and drug and alcohol prevention programs. The organization also supports programs that heat, feed and shelter community members in need. The 211 network is a free call center that helps people find a variety of services, including shelters, food banks and summer camps for children.
814 Lanes & Games provides bowling, laser tag, escape rooms, food and other entertainment. Business partner Chris Hogue said the United Way’s work locally made the decision to help an easy one.
“We want to give back to the community that is supporting our new business by donating a portion of our proceeds on Thursday, March 18, to United Way of the Laurel Highlands. It's a difficult time for people and we know United Way is always there giving a helping hand and we would like to be a part of that as well,” Hogue said.
The business is located at 1140 Frances St., Johnstown, PA 15904.
